Is seafood it truly an aphrodisiac or does it just depend on the place you eat it?

You'll find this restaurant walking along one of Soho's typical narrow pavement streets. We hadn't been here before, we weren’t actually hungry, but we walked past it, and were drawn in by the atmosphere seen from outside.

We entered with doubts about being accepted because it was almost 2:30 in the afternoon, but  we later learned that they are open all day long.

We waited for a while, the place was full, and although two posts in the back were vacated, we decided to wait for a table that had a view of the street.

The tables are more like shared inns with high bar chairs. The music is really good; at first, light jazz and then it changed to a super cool house that made us stay there all afternoon.

The kitchen is just by the entrance to the left and you can enjoy watching what the chef and cooks prepare. I guess there is an additional kitchen in the back.

We had a bottle of a trendy rosé wine that was on the daily specials list: a £28 French Malbec, which turned out to blend impeccably with our meal : first some oysters and then a delicious Bouillabaise. I didn't get any dessert! (The bill came to £100)

The flawless service, the pleasant waiting and the 2 o'clock atmosphere on a Friday: perfect.

New addition to my list of places to come back!

No comí postre!!!
