Is seafood it truly an aphrodisiac or does it just depend on the place you eat it?

You'll find this restaurant walking along one of Soho's popular narrow streets. We hadn't been here before, we weren’t actually hungry, but we walked past it, and were drawn in by the atmosphere seen from outside.

We entered with doubts about being accepted because it was almost 2:30 in the afternoon, but  we later learned that they are open all day long.

It took a bit of patience, the place was full, and although two posts in the back were vacated, we decided to wait for a table with street view.

Seating is on  long  wooden tables with bar stools. The music is really good; at first, light jazz and then it evolved to a super cool house that made us stay there all afternoon.

The kitchen is just by the entrance to the left and you can enjoy watching what the chef and the sous cook. I imagine there is back up kitchen further away.

We had a bottle of a trendy rosé wine that was on the daily specials list: a £28 French Malbec, which turned out to blend impeccably with our meal: first some oysters and then a hearty Bouillabaise. I didn't order any dessert!

The bill came up  to £100.

The flawless service, the pleasant waiting and the 2 o'clock atmosphere on a Friday was absolutely perfect.

Definitely a new addition to my list of restaurants in London!

No comí postre!!!
